Fifteen years ago, Aavaran made a commitment to sustain the unique craft of Dabu, the mud-resist hand block printing of Mewar, Rajasthan. Today it empowers a community of 300 artisans across skills, led by designer Alka Sharma of Indian Institude of Craft and Design.
