In Microcosm: Artists for the Forest: 8-16 February, 2025

ARTISANS' presents the art created by Daisuke Kagawa, the Vayeda Brothers, and Yusuke Asai at The Forest Art Festival in Ladakh. In 2024 artists from Japan and India gathered in Ladakh, to create art, for the future of Ladakh’s ecosystem. It was a spin-off exhibition of the Forest Art Festival in Ladakh 2023, when more than 6,000 saplings were planted in collaboration with the people of Matho and its monastery. The initiative didn’t end there; it focused on nurturing the regeneration of a forest while creating a local community that has found an expression through art. With ARTISANS’ as a sponsor of this initiative, the goal of this exhibition is to share and expand the network of supporters and stakeholders, and together track the regeneration of the forest.
The program includes screening a documentary film, a presentation, and a discussion with representatives of the Wall Art Project and the Vayeda Brothers.
