The Moire yellow wrap pays homage to the Op Art movement of the 1960s in a CMYK (Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, Black) palette borrowed from offset printing. The illusionary shimmer is created entirely by one artisan by superimposing blocks, which takes over 8 hours to achieve. The ornamental borders of curlicues recall Mughal-inspired frescoes in Rajasthan. This fusion of two disparate aesthetics surprise and delight the viewer effortlessly.
