The PARCHEESI scarf has an interesting geometric layout inspired by the ancient Indian board game of Parcheesi, which was played by royalty and common folk alike. The two ends meld together at the centre to create an illusionistic check pattern in the centre.
This piece is created using old basic striped blocks that are manipulated to create depth with overlay. It takes about 8-10 hours to execute and has to be made by one craftsman only from start to finish.
