Discover the art of weaving with a portable ancient tool!
Join us for an engaging workshop where you will learn the fundamentals of weaving using a paddle loom. This time-honored technique has been used for centuries to create a variety of items such as straps, ropes, and edgings. With the freedom to experiment with color and texture, you'll have the opportunity to work with different yarns and patterns.
All materials will be provided.
Please bring a non-elastic belt or a similar item that you can comfortably tie around your waist.
We kindly ask all participants to arrive on time, as we'll be starting promptly. This will ensure that everyone receives the necessary instructions and has ample time to explore the weaving process.
At the end of the workshop, take home a beautifully hand-woven accessory that can be used in endless creative ways. Whether you prefer it as a belt, a camera strap, or a bracelet, let your imagination guide you!

About the artist:
Henry Skupniewicz is a designer living a working in India. He has been active in the fiber arts for several decades and is currently exploring wool yarn production in the Western Himalayas.
