The ‘Koromo’ collection offers one-of-a-kind art to wear! Japanese designer Ryoko Haraguchi's avant garde designs integrate timeless Indian textiles with traditional Japanese techniques.
Using silks, Haraguchi marries techniques of weaving and stitching, with Japanese Kaki-shibu persimmon dyeing. The persimmon dye bathes the fabric with a tannin-rich, aged and fermented persimmon extract.
These taffeta silk trousers woven in India, are gradation-dyed gray, and then overdyed with Kaki-shibu persimmon. The ankle length trousers have an elasticated back waist for an ageless but sharp fit!
