IRO IRO designed this textile using surplus hand-spun khadi yarn juxtaposed against a natural dyed 'gheru' colour, which takes ten days to prepare.
Hand-spun Khadi yarns are thicker and softer in character. When handwoven with finer Ambar-charkha-spun yarn, they create a texture similar to the seersucker textile (derived from the Hindi word 'sīrsakar'). This seasonless textile is naturally warm in winter and cool in summer.
